An anomalous version of the acclaimed Rev G, making it one of the rarest among all early revisions. 20 preamp captures of Serial #3515, a 1994 Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier with rare Rev F transformers.
This Neural DSP Quad Cortex capture pack features one of the rarest configurations in Dual Rectifier history: a Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier Revision G (Serial #3515) with Revision F transformers. This 1994 anomaly combines a Rev G circuit board with the earlier 562100 Output Transformer and 561136 Power Transformer—normally found in Rev F models—housed in a Revision C chassis.
The Revision G is known as the final evolution of the 2-channel Dual Rectifier, produced from 1994-2001. Most Rev G amps received dedicated Rectifier transformers from Schumacher, but Serial #3515 is an exceptionally rare exception: it shipped with the earlier Mark-series transformers (562100 & 561136) that gave the legendary Rev F its tighter, more focused character.
This unique combination delivers:
Revision G Dual Rectifiers are already sought-after as the final and most refined 2-channel model. This particular amp—with its rare transformer configuration—represents a transitional moment in Mesa's manufacturing history. The combination of Rev F transformers in a Rev G circuit creates a tonal sweet spot that's impossible to find in standard production models.
